Beetroot having a massively swollen red root, it has tremendous health benefits. Its red coloring are rich in the nutrient betaine, which has been shown to lower blood pressure and thus help prevent cardiovascular problems. The beetroot is fully with folic acid and vitamins B6 and B12. Beetroot juice has been shown to lower the negative effects of high nitrate, a chemical preservative, which is sometimes found in our daily food.
The usually way to eat beetroot are boiled either as a cooked vegetable, or cold as a salad after cooking and adding oil and vinegar, or raw and shredded, either alone or combined with any salad vegetable. I really recommend it raw in a salad, the purifying effect is fully, it tastes good and it´s nice for the eye. Enjoy!
